Practical guides to reducing unwanted contactWorried about a scam? Get help

Your attention
belongs to you.

Unsubscribed brings practical UK privacy advice into one useful place. Less searching, less jargon, more control over who reaches you.

Why this exists

An unsolicited calendar invitation can feel more intrusive than an unwanted email. But the settings that help are scattered across help centres, privacy policies and registration forms. This project makes those options easier to find and easier to use.

Who is behind it

Unsubscribed is an AA2 Limited project, led by Martin Dugan. AA2 works in marketing and automation. That makes respecting people’s choices especially important: relevant communication should come with a clear, workable way to say no.

We are an independent commercial project, not a regulator, charity or government service. Names and links to other organisations are provided for reference and do not imply endorsement.

How we choose and maintain advice

  • Free steps come first, with paid tools clearly described as optional.
  • We prioritise official support pages, regulators and the organisations that run each service.
  • Guides show a review date and sources. We label uncertainty and avoid guarantees that cannot be supported.
  • We distinguish settings that change immediately from requests that need verification or time.
  • If a menu or link has changed, follow the provider’s current instructions and let us know.

The initial research review was completed on 29 September 2026. It is a dated review, not a claim that every linked form has been submitted or every device tested.

How this is funded

The current version contains no advertising, affiliate links or paid checkout. We may explore clearly labelled sponsorship or personal help in future. The free guides remain the starting point.
